|------|-----------|----------|-------------|----------|
| XAU/USD | October | 72% | August | 45% |
| EUR/USD | March | 68% | August | 38% |

Why August Is the Worst Month
August has the lowest win rate (42%) because:
- Low institutional volume — European traders on vacation
- Choppy price action — Less institutional displacement = fewer clean OBs and FVGs
- False breakouts — Low volume leads to more false breaks that look like manipulation but aren't
- Unpredictable Kill Zones — With reduced volume, London open doesn't produce the usual manipulation/distribution pattern
Why March and October Are the Best
March (65% win rate)
- Year-start trends are well-established
- Institutional Q1 positioning creates strong directional moves
- Clean displacement and order blocks
October (64% win rate)
- Fall trend resumption after summer doldrums
- Q4 institutional positioning creates strong moves
- High volume returns after August/September

FAQ
Q: Should I stop trading in August?
A: Not necessarily, but reduce your position size by 50% and be more selective. Only take A+ setups.
Q: Do seasonal patterns repeat every year?
A: Mostly yes, but not perfectly. Economic conditions (recessions, crises) can override seasonal patterns. Use seasonality as a bias, not a guarantee.
Q: What about specific days of the week?
A: Our data shows Tuesday and Wednesday have the highest win rates (61% and 60%). Monday (52%) and Friday (50%) are lower — less institutional commitment on bookend days.
